ingame time

I'm not sure if it's just our server (Atl37) or all servers, but it seems the ingame/server time is most definitely not 24 hours, more like 96 hours. I played last night for about 8 hours but according to the watch ingame, only about 2 hours had passed. Are we doing something wrong? Is there something to do with the server config? Is that why others restart their server 6 times a day? I personally prefer to play at night under the cover of darkness but it's difficult when the server stays daylight for 3-4 days. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what we can do about keeping our server on a 24 hour clock.

Servers generally need a restart every 6 hours.

ok thank you, we will try setting up scheduled restarts and see if that helps

any way of getting the time set correctly? it's an atl server set at pacific time, it always has been for some reason

Yeah, this is the number one reason that I 'server hop'.

I see a server (Dallas 22, this morning, but there are many other instances), and the desc says 'GMT -5'. Cool, I think, 6 AM (I am GMT -7 and it's 4 AM here).

Nope. I get in game and it's pitch black night. I check my watch, 10 PM. Derp.

Time is always fucked up on servers. I play with friends and if I ask the time everyone always gives a different answer while we are at the same server. 5 people 5 different times. For some its even night and for others day.
