What setting affects the amount of detail you see in a building?

 

For example, let's say a building is very far. If you look through a long range scope, you don't see through the windows, only drawings of the windows. What can I change in my config file to allow me to see the actual windows?

There are a few threads that talk about the rendering distances etc..  no settings you can adjust to make it any better last I recalled reading.

Yes the distance is actually set within the game cannot be increased via settings and the only thing you can do is make the rendering distance less, which nobody wants unless your playing on a toaster of a PC.
