Yeah i don't think he means he wants the game to be as fast as cod or battlefield.. But there should definitely be a balance between snail speeds and a regular paced experience. After playing a game for a while its nice to get into the groove of things and know the controls without having to think twice or look down at your keyboard, In other words i think gamers just want the most fluid experience as possible with as little interruptions as possible. Dayz has too many interuptions that kind of take you out of the fluidity and immersion. Interruptions like bandaging and fixing broken legs are fine, but in a zombie game where you either need to Fight or Flight, it can be quite cumbersome and frustrating when your character takes his sweet time in a dire situation. Demoth 366 Posted March 9, 2014 Maybe I'm a stupid newb and there is a way to change this... but I hate how the "use" key is also the "change magazine type" key when you have an M4 and different tyoes of mags.Nothing worse than trying to storm a house only to be sliiightly off from center and instead of opening the door, you noisily change a mag and get shot in the face because you're stuck in the animation. Jex 1104 Posted March 9, 2014 You could holster your weapon right before you get to the ladder in anticipation, that would get you up quicker. It's on your back when u get to the top (if you don't fall off it that is) and something I'd do in rl if I was approaching a ladder I was gonna climb.
