Combat loggers.

So my idea is if you initiate combat or you are shot then log out this is recorded somehow by the server.  The amount of times you do this is then put out there for everyone to see.  The top ten combat loggers are forced to wearing

 

 

until they leave the top ten.  This will not harm the occasional errors/accidents that happen from time to time but the ones that persist in such cowardly actions should be named and shamed.

That's what I assumed they would do someday (having the server detect combat like that). I think that maybe there should be an in-game time limit if they're going to do something like that with the costume. Because if they learn their lesson but the costume is still on, it might be a little irritating. They shouldn't combat log, but wearing that costume is like eternal damnation lol. Plus, that means that other people have to combat log just for you to get out of the top 10, so I think some sort of timer with it would work better.

No problems I can handle criticism, it also 30 sec log timer and there is nothing to prevent them doing it over and over because there is very little in the way of consequences.  Having the whole forum know just how cowardly you are is far more impacting than the slight possibility you may die from logging, regearing aint that big of a problem, hell it even gives me something to do.  

 

The costume was more of joke than anything else but now I come to think of it would be a good ingame indication as well, maybe not the lion but a big yellow raincoat would suffice.

 

Good point Knock, sure a time limit could be imposed.

I like how you can see people who combat log somewhere but I dont know about the skin lol. Seems pretty harsh, and for some people might even encourage combat logging for the then "exclusive" skin lol.

Yeah it's a funny idea but forcing players to wear a costume, because they teleport through parallel universes too much, is an acknowledgement of this parallel universe jumping ingame and thus an immersion breaker.
