What is your favorite item and why?

For me, I like playing on night servers because it is a much more hostile environment so my favorite item is currently the portable gas lamp.  It emits so much light and makes exploring so much better, but at the same time it really gives away your location to other players.

My favorite item? My favorite item is handcuffs of course. A couple days ago, I handcuffed some random dude that said he was friendly, I was going to let him go, but realized I had no keys. I decided to try and kill him, but he logged off, so he died anyway...

Has to be blue berries at the moment because on one of the Experimental servers I've been in a fist and hoe fight with 3 other players and when they eventually killed me I heard one of them looting and crunching on the blue poisonous berries from my inventory.

The variety and assortment of clothing is what I like most in game presently.  The fact that every Dayz avatar is so different, something i make sure of.

The Art of War.

It is a very enjoyable and rare book and it contains a lot of useful information which I can use to annoy the s**t out of my crew. Also it is an excellent status item and if found on your dead body, atleast your killer knows that you were an eduacted scholar and brilliant military strategist regardless of your obvious failure in the latter since you are dead.

My favourite bit of kit is the canteen. Always handy to have when you're in the middle of nowhere without any Spite or Pipsi cans to drink from.
