Object LOD very low even though my settings are on very high for it.

Recommended Posts

Makes scouting buildings and long distance looking very hard. Any tips?

What's your object distance number set to in your config file? I'm unsure of whether scene complexity has any role in that. Allot of FPS Performance guides suggest turning object view distance to 1000 but I seem to get very low LOD issues like you are having.

I don't think it's about view distance, but scene complexity. Put it on at least 600,000 (equivalent to normal setting). It's inside the same file. Also make the both view distances 2,000 or maybe more.

I have to keep my scene complexity number low like 10,000 or so. Anything higher starts to lag badly when I'm in a city
