Does anyone else hear the sound of high altitude planes or jets while wandering about in open country? At it sounds like it anyway. Maybe it's supposed to be something else.

I remember it from Operation Flashpoint where it occured when you were near an airfield but louder, I think. But in dayz I am hearing everywhere on the map.

With rabbits making zombie noises and being able to hear people opening cans or stacking ammunition across the map, it wouldn't surprise me.

 

Raise it on the bugtracker if it hasn't already been done.

Not heard the plane but I sometimes play helicopter sounds over direct chat, it's fun to watch people look skywards as I get into position.

Never...ever heard plane noises..or noises that sound even remotely like planes or wing-ed things in the SA.

Have you looked out your window recently ..?..out and up ?

No it's in game. And it's always the same sound :D It really sounds like the sound in OF while approaching airfields. It's not really loud, it is just a gentle noise. Like a doppler effect of a high altitude plane or jet. And it's quite regularly.

But okay, I'll try my luck in bug reporting. Although, it mustn't be a bug, could be part of the story!?

 

 

...and I'm doing it on the week-end. I'm not gonna spend my precious lunch break on that huge bug reporting how-to :lol:

I once heard someone "bumming" from inside the wagon, trying to get out in Svetlo...Maybe it was my imagination.
