Will somebody please adopt a NOOB?

I was browsing games on steam and came accross Day Z and it looked impressive and very different to the games I usually play. I have never played any Zombie or Survival game before. So to cut a long story short, I bought it and it is currently downloading. After browsing around the forums and on the internet i was a bit worried I might struggle getting used to everything without getting killed every 5 minutes. I was kind of hoping if someone could adopt me, meet me in game where ever I start and teach me the basics, help me find loot and generally look after me as I tend to get frustrated with games when they are too hard and don't end up playing them :D

Really... You think gearing up is all there is too do? While I admit the mod seems packed full of shit (some of it litterally shit) There is tons to do in DayZ SA "IF" you have the right mindset.. never get bored, just find some friends.

I had a quick play around to get used to the controlls etc, I came across this guy in a house, he was quite helpful and explained a few things to me, until a group of idiots came along and blew the crap out of us. I tried again solo but I just have no idea where to go and end up getting killed by hunger or by zombies. I am from the UK so it is 1:15 AM here and I am off to bed, However I will be on tommorow, If anyone of you can give me a hand tommorow add me on steam, my name is jordantangerine, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Why?  What is the worst that can happen, you get shot and killed?  Who cares.  If you love the game, you embrace that mad first 2 or 3 hours of wearing crazy mismatched clothes, hunting desperately for food and a gun, ANY GUN!  I adore it.  Meeting and interacting with other players is what makes this game awesome.

perhaps you simply are very stupid so i will try explaining or, you actually are a wild alive noob and simply won't understand anyway ..a noob is an idiot. a newbe is a beginner at a game.
