Does your character carry over to the Experimental Game Servers?

Also, it seems everytime i switch back and forth i have to download a patch. Is this normal? Or did i just happen to switch when new updates came out for both?

No. And yes, that's normal.

Okay, so if i switch to the Experimental servers right now, i will have to download a patch again? Will my Regular Server character be there when i get back and vise versa?

 

Im just asking because i have 1mb internet and downloading the patch over and over will be a hassle after awhile.

When you go back and forth from experimental to stable there will be a file update/download each time.

 

You will keep your characters while doing this though.  You should not lose either character when switching back and forth.

Is there no way around the patch or download?

No why would there be... if you patch to experimental and then go back to stable by "re-downloading" back to stable you are in fact sure that you do indeed have the latest stable build... and the same goes for going back to experimental.. the downloads are not normaly that big 250-550mb so it only takes a few seconds any how.

Thats the thing i only have 1mb internet and those downloads take an hour. inb4 upgrade. If i had a provider out here with higher speeds id have it.

You will need to download when switching back and forth.
