Is carrying 2 two-handed weapons considered ok?

For  while now I have been carrying a Mosin on my back and an M4/Blaze in my hands. Is this considered a bug or abusing a game mechanic, or is this considered acceptable/intended functionality?

 

The Mod always made it easy enough for people to carry multiple weapons in their bags, but Standalone you can't stash a 2 hand weapon (sawed off shotty being the exception) in your bag.

 

If this is intended, does it seem reasonable to expect it not to drop from your hands to a "slot under your backback" when you log in? In fact recently, it seems to just drop to the floor and if you forget to pick it up you can lose it.

 

Which brings me to a second issue/bug, which I'm too lazy to go search bug reports to see if this has been reported or not. Nothing mentioned in the current Experimental Changelog. Maybe another "bug reporting fan" can test and report this if it's not been reported:

 

When you carrying a second gun in your hands and you log out, the gun in your hands seems to drop to the floor and someone else can pick it up!?

 

I was playing with a friend and we got bored of the empty server we were on, decided to go find a busier server and went into a building to swap servers, I logged off...my friend described that my character sat down and dropped my M4 to the floor. To avoid it simply being lost, he put his M4 to his back, picked up mine in his hands, and logged off.

 

When I logged into the new server, I still had my M4, albeit on the floor. When my friend logged in, he still had both M4s! Basically, the item got duplicated. We found a bush and dumped it, after taking advantage of the duplicated 60 clip. :P

We have tested this a couple times now since (as I am normally carrying a Mosin and M4/Blaze) and it seems to duplicate the weapon each time!

 

Has anyone else experienced this and/or aware of whether this has been reported for fixing yet?

No you're fine as far as I know.  If you do ANYTHING with your hands you drop the gun in your hands.

 

Now that I'm thinking about it.. what weapon is not two-handed?

 

And yes when you log out now you drop the gun because you do stuff with your hands during the logout-tango.

sure, it's grand.  you forfeit your fleet of foot perk so the game compensates for it, more so in future when weights and exhaustion are added i'd imagine..

 

they have also fixed dropping the weapon in hand when you sit down, this is the other problem you've experienced, though I thought you lost the weapon if someone else picked it up before the server reset or you logged in again. it might mysteriously vanish yet..

It's pretty well known, And no, It's not a bug, It's a feature, That's why it says " Take into hands " Instead of " Take " ;).

However, The duping is a bug. :P
