Is morphine really that rare?

So I was looting Berezino hospital. I was walking up the stairs when I randomly broke my legs. I searched whole hospital, not a single piece of morphine. So I decided to server hop a little, cause glitch broke my legs. Now this is the part where it gets insane. I looted about 15 untouched hospitals, not a single morphine found. Am I really unlucky, missing some sweet spawning spot, it's bugged or something else? I really dont want to crawl all the way to other cities.

I found like 6-8 on both reg and hc chars together just today afternoon. Mostly at military jail buildings, but some at hospitals and police stations too... I guess i was extremly lucky because i never found a single morphine before(after the loot patch)

I find them more often in those red-brick restaurant buildings, and the 2 story green buildings with red door.. If you have some industrial loot spawn nearby you may want to consider to crawl there and check for wooden sticks to craft yourself a splint

I found one the other day...I think in a school.  That being said I'm noticing the old Medical house/bar doesn't spawn medical loot anymore.  I'm assuming these items are now going to spawn in the new residential medical centers.  Can anyone confirm?  This would only be on experimental branch.

Sometimes it can seem like the item you want is rare, but that's just sods law+DayZ's loot spawns trolling you. I found most of my morphine in the prison blocks, mostly in the cells. But I have come across a couple of injectors of both types in hospitals too so they do spawn there.

You can do the slow vault animation with a broken leg. If you crawl as close to the stairs as you get, get upright, and then vault you will glitch past the stairs to the next floor.

I figured this out in frustration.. after eating a ton of rotten fruit in order to die and respawn. Of course, the morphine was then literally right in fucking front of me.

XD I can never find morphine I found about 1 morphine for every 10 epi pens It is crazy!
