Long time mod player, new to standalone

Hey, I was just wondering how many guns there are in standalone. Are they only found at the airfields?  Are there no more military tents in Berezino? I couldnt find any, does that mean there are none in Stary?  That would suck if guns are only found in 3 places

There's a shotgun, Mosin, M4, SKS, .45, .357, and I believe a 2-shot 7.62 rifle.

Nope, just like when I first tried the mod, I just jumped in knowing nothing ;p

 

Thx for the reply. At the moment I have a .45 handgun so that should do for the moment.

meh, I usually figure this stuff out on my own, just really wanted to know how many guns there were.

EDIT: oh yea, when will tents be implemented? thats one big thing I love doing when im a lone wolf, looting tents :P

 

EDIT2: Can you use compasses? I have one but I dont see a key bind for it, nvm I figuered it out

Persistant storage is being worked on now it is coming in the form of back pack that can be hidden ( no word on tents) but the persistant back packs will hit experimental in next couple weeks..

Thats alright, that is pretty much a tent but without the storage space.

They've added more military bases and more locations for military spawns to the map for standalone, but yes, the Berezino tents are gone. Including the one near the hospital.

 

For the compass, this works quite differently. you drag it to your hotbar, then select that number. Then you press 'space' to make it 'active' and look at the bottom edge of your screen in first person.

To run again you have to press space again to lower the compass.
