tornsage 2 Posted February 25, 2014 I was confronted on the sea shore after just starting by a well-equipped player - I was carrying my flashlight and instead of waving to him i raised the flashlight and he thought it was a gun and popped me - after he realized, he patched me up, gave me meds and food and some advice ...then he left. Neinsager 30 Posted February 25, 2014 I met both, and their attitude depended on our location. Cherno, Elektro, Berezino, airfields....no one was talking, everyone was shooting. Zoridium JackL 16 Posted February 25, 2014 I've never met a geared person in game who was friendly, I met one guy with a mosin (and not much else) who literally ran past screaming "don't shoot me I don't want trouble", and one small group of semi-geared (basic civ clothing and a couple basic civ guns, don't think they had ammo) who said hello then went on their way, but apart from them everyone I've met has either been a bandit or a bambi who couldn't fight me if they tried (and a couple have tried lol), it annoys me a little because I'm usually a very friendly person to people I meet and I'd like to have a positive interaction with someone who isn't only being nice because I have a gun in my hands. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We were, admittedly, looking for fresh spawns to either toy with or help out (we're not sadistic bastards, but it is a little fun to give people a fright, but not murder them). We stopped one guy, and while we were talking we noticed a small horde of people running up the coast. We told the bambi to book it, and a few minutes later 8 mostly geared players ran up on us. Instead of starting a massive firefight we started talking to them. A minute later we parted ways, neither of us wanting to cause trouble except against bandits, and everyone lived! My last friend broke "her" legs on a three foot fall. I had nothing to help her with and was too stupid to mercy kill them as they asked. After giving her some food and sodas I left. That was during my 2nd ever log on... Afterwards, I realized that I only doomed her to a lingering death.David's if you're reading this, I'm sorry. Sometimes when I'm a fresh spawn and have nothing to lose, I like to zombie-bait. Get their aggro and play tag. This game usually ends badly for me. I have a full backpack, he has a full backpack, why the fuck would you shoot for? I respawned in elektro and decided to give a full server a go since i had nothing to loose. Oh my god, was it a fucking mess, people were running around like headless chooks, everyone punching everyone. A great game, but fuckwit players, who seem to be playing the game for wrong reasons completely. We have some people on this forum which say something like "Hey bandits, how can you carry so much blood on your hands" You know... When I read such bullshit I must laugh.
