Can't start game

I can't download DayZ because every time I try to download a message pops up saying "An error has occurred (connection timed out)" even though I have a good enough connection to download any other game. So if anyone has any ways to fix it plz help!!! Thanks.

Have you tried restarting Steam?

We'll yes many times but I also went steam support and followed instructions with a problem similar to this but it didn't work.

Have you tried changing your download region (Settings > Downloads > Download Region), to determine if it's a problem with the Steam server that you're attempting to download from, and downloading a different game, to determine if you're only having this issue with DayZ?

Turns out it's with very game that I have to update.

also, try to change the branch in:

 

Right clicking dayz and select properties

 

go to a tab where is testing i believe??(not on a pc with steam right now can't say)

 

and try to go to experimental branch,click ok, if it doesn't work, try to go back to stable branch to see if it corrects it??

Hey guys thanks for the help but it started randomly downloading and actually worked. So thanks for the help but now i have another problem it says Corrupted Data Detected in a window so now I've made a new topic so plz check it out. Thanks
