ShadowMedic 10 Posted February 24, 2014 I think this would rock as it would give us a place to talk about the experimental build and our impressions. Also it would be a really cool place to talk to a smaller group of players. Thank you for the random stranger that gave me, a random bambi with a white shirt and green work helmet, a fully decked out blaze by the northern airfield. made my day

rickyriot 1009 Posted February 24, 2014 Have my beans. It's an unwritten fact that those who play the experimental branches are simply better people. ^_^

Guest Posted February 24, 2014 actually, great idea. i like the exp.threads but they'r full of junk - having a own sub helps to gather stuff we can post into tracker.go for it MODS

But since every dumbass can install an experimental patch, what's the sense behind a subforum?
MuchHigher 65 Posted February 24, 2014 Haha nice try.If downloading and installing the experimental builds was just for privilieged people. But since every dumbass can install an experimental patch, what's the sense behind a subforum? To talk about things pertaining to the Experimental build. Would also help other people from getting confused because they're all mixed together currently. I think it's a great idea, and not sure why there is much resistance. If you don't play the Experimental you don't have to head over to that part of the forum.
ShadowMedic 10 Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) This could possibly lead to more useful feedback to the devs if there's a glaring problem with a certian aspect in the experimental that needs to be fixed before going stable. Thanks for the support peoples! Edited February 25, 2014 by ShadowMedic
herrjon 478 Posted February 25, 2014 I'd say no, there's too many sub forums already, if you really feel you need to stand out, just mark your thread with [Experimental patch x] To talk about things pertaining to the Experimental build. Would also help other people from getting confused because they're all mixed together currently. I think it's a great idea, and not sure why there is much resistance. If you don't play the Experimental you don't have to head over to that part of the forum. People will always be in the wrong forum, whether it be posting or reading. Check out the entire DayZ mod forum if you need proof. The thing with experimental discussions are they become stable patch discussions after a bit. Just leaving it all the same forum lowers cross posting (which is rampant already) This could possibly lead to more useful feedback to the devs if there's a glaring problem with a certian aspect in the experimental that needs to be fixed before going stable. Thanks for the support peoples! The devs look to the bug tracker for feedback, not the forums.
