Does gear carry over from server to server?

I am new to the game and I would like to know if gear that your character obtains is carried over from one server to the next, assuming you have not died. Also, does the location of your character you log out at stay the same among different servers? Thanks. :)

Hello and welcome to the forums. First of all: You don't have to write big letters to be heard. ;)

 

And yes, your character should save, even though there are a lot of issues at the moment with the hive meaning your character won't save. Also worth noting: There are two different variants where you have two different characters. Regular and Hardcore.

 

When you have a character on Hardcore it will stay on those server while your regular character stays untouched.
