JerZDevil 7 Posted February 23, 2014 I think It would be neat if you could have the ability to find say sleeping pills and/or poisons and be able to spike food or drinks, to give the chance we could set them out in the street for unexpected players to pick up and eat or drink, as a trap. incapacitating the victim to be looted but not kill the victim by the spiking alone. JerZDevil 7 Posted February 25, 2014 Well your answer is kinda not what I mean yes they have rotten fruit an disinfectant but I'd wanna be able to take an object like food or drinks and be able to poison it so the next person who drinks or eats it thinks its safe but really its been tampered with and causes sickness...you understand? I have no doubt that people will go around placing the spiked items, to just troll or annoy players. It would suck if you go into a town starving or dehydrated pick up a drink or food and drop because it is spiked, not by someone wanting to loot a player but someone who just placed it there for their own amusement.The only way to really solve that is to make the food check able for spiking, by having your character having a small taste of what they are eating, not enough to hurt them, but just test the food. However I can imagine this growing tedious and annoying, I think it should be just water bottles and canteens. Just check the water bottle when you first get it.. thats not too tedious.. Not like you find bottles too often anyways. If its spiked, pour it out and refill with well water. Cans cant be spiked since they are sealed.
