Do you often not hear aggroed Zeds like me?

Is it just me or is this normal? I often will have silent zeds chasing me down and other times I hear them like normal.

 

I use surround sound headset that works flawlessly for all other sounds. So Im wondering if others experience this too?

Had this problem with my 7.1 headset. Had to go in and tune it as some of the sounds were being incorrectly sent to the sub only. Might want to check that this isn't happening in your case.

Yuh happens to me all the time. I use a cheap Wal-Mart headset but im always on the lookout for em.

Common problem, you'll hear zeds when there aren't any and won't hear them when you have a horde.  Just bugs with the ambient noises, it's being worked on.

i just seen a rabbit for first time last night in standalone! tried to shoot him but it just passed through, then i walked right up and it just sat there, even stood up after a while, ran off after I walked away abit.  Strangely my friend couldnt see it, must be client-side? 

 

but yeah i dont hear aggro sometimes either, which resulted in my death as i hid in a forest area to grab some some snacks, came back just in time to see them knock me out and kill me

Yes, there are rabbits in SA. Yes, they make zombie noises. And no, you can't kill them (I've tried after every patch).

LOL.. ok, I believe you. But at first I thought maybe you were seeing things. I have yet to see them in the SA, but always loved to hunt them in the mods when I got bored.. tough little buggers to hit at a distance
