cant seem to find an .56 ammos... only .45

i thought .56 ammos were all over the place!

 

i went thru the balota and

 

to my extreme surprise i did not find a single .56 ammo

 

instead i foudn like 200 .45 ammos!!!!!!

 

whats the point of finding ammos for a ruined pistol that I can't even use..

 

I finally found a pristine M4 with pristine mag

You can usually find them in barracks, jails, and hangars.

Most of the time people go through the military areas they are looking for 5.56, so It may just take you a few servers to reach your ammo goals. Pretty sure its only spawning in the military zones and the police station on the north east coast. Could have sworn the boxes used to spawn in civilian areas too, but I havent seen any in a while

Nope, that's just step one. Next patch they take out all other ammo and you can only use player made weapons. You can craft from a rock, the "hand club" or from a stick the "jabbin' stick". All inventory slots will be gone now as well, since having more than one hand-club or jabbin' stick is OP.

 

Also, if you yell friendly in voice, all weapons will break and you'll only have the "hug" option.

You can find them in the piano building (green balacony), hospitals, Rify (the destroyed boat), military bases, and to my knowledge ive found a few cases in the 1 story beige buildings with the kitchen.. If your talking about the 5.56 that comes in the little brown paper rectangle thing that is. It does seem they have gotten a little rarer.

 

I think the way the "loot" systems works is every place that spawns ammo will have a chance to spawn them, but with all the ammo that comes in packages now they have a lower chance to spawn...

No joke. I was walking through Elektro backwards, with my eyes closed and fell asleep for a few minutes and *bam*, out of nowhere, "you are dead". Gotta stop those damned jabbin' stick kids. Can't use a real weapon like a hand club and beat a man to death in twenty minutes like the rest of us.

Are police stations only in Experimental? They're all over the place. They always have M4 or shotgun or SKS. Sometimes multiple. I grab both and ditch one in the woods.
