I knew the DayZ Mods impact on total ArmA sales was big, but didn't realise that it accounted for a solid 50%.

 

No wonder they are getting in behind the SA in a big way. And to be frank they generally deserve the recognition that it is bringing with it. They are one of the best little software companies that I've had the pleasure of travelling with over the years. Started out with OPF and have continued up through to ArmA 3 and now on into DayZ.

 

It is always interesting to watch stories like this unfold. Starting out as something that no one believes is going to be of interest to any more than a handful of people through to it exploding out into the world. There are parallels here with Minecraft and it's success, but ATM DayZ is a long way from that level of success. But we can hope...

 

Anyway, great video, thanks for the link. Learnt a few new things from it. Cheers.
