nadbuddy 1 Posted February 20, 2014 Hi, i just finished downloading DayZ and tried it out, apparently it lagged so i went on going down to Low settings, i noticed that it didn't help a lot.So what i'm here for is if there are any tweaks to the game that could help me increase the FPS in any way. My "LAPTOP" Specs (ASUS G75VX) i7-3630QM 2.4 GHz8 GB RAMGTX 670MXand loads of Hard Drive space Now according to SystemRequirementsLab i only met the minimum requirement for the game, now what im out here for is if there areany tweaks to help increase FPS, any help will be appreciated. ALSO! Damn mouse acceleration, HOW DO I TURN THIS OFF!? This is annoying as f*ck as when i move around with my mouse its like a stupid smooth rotating cinematic movie or something.I'm too afraid to tinkle around with the files unless there are steps to do it. Anyways! any help will be appreciated, i'm sorry if i posted in the wrong section.

enforcer1975 1111 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) Buy a desktop PC....? And i'm serious... It's like wanting to compete in a drag race with your mothers station wagon then asking the pros how you can get more horsepower out of the engine... even a slight increase of 5% from 20 fps is just another frame... irishroy 1347 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) 16GB is a bit too over the top, i think.Because 8GB, which works together with the CPU is better than "slow" 16GB.(but that's just ma opinion on that) Edited February 20, 2014 by irishroy

Me and 2 of my mates play on laptops while my other friend plays on a desktop. We still get the same frame rates as the desktop pc.
hegysk 1 Posted February 21, 2014 Iam getting +/- the same frames at i5mobile laptop with 4gigs of ram and on the Desktop with FX6350@4.7ghz and 8gigs of ram and decent graphic card, I also heard experiences with super-high-end rig reaching barely the same FPS as I do, so I am starting to thing there is no way to bring better performance results anyhow (but being lucky with supercompatible hardware???) Martmital 436 Posted February 21, 2014 There are high end and aldi pcs...must be latter? No, it's actually a respectable desktop. People with top end rigs are reporting the same problems...
