Printable DayZ SA map available?

Hey there,

 

I found a printable version of the DayZ mod but so far I didn't find one for SA.

 

Anyone got some information?

Since the map of the StandAlone is still changing, I do not recommend printing it out yet.

But there are some files around that you can print already if you really want to. There's a 300 MB .jpg on the web somewhere, I'll see if I can find the link, pretty sure it's somewhere on the forums already.

I agree somewhat.  More towns/cities will get added or the layouts of them changed but you could print the base map without the spawn locations added and just put them in themselves.

ESPECIALLY want if it includes the contour lines.

 

If when the map is updated, I can print a new one, also cheap.

 

when the final product is released, ill get a full color, laminated version....

I printed one out in A0. Hung it up my Office here and the first Student to recognize its from dayZ gets a rare ingame item :D

Ist a rather high res i grabbed from reddit....cant find it right now but the DL link pointed to the mega Service. (also A0 is papersize ;) translates to 840mm x 1189mm )

I tried to have a print shop do this during the mod and they freaked out saying the map was probably copyrighted so they refused.

 

Which company do you know will print without freaking out!   I think it was staples that told me no.

A0 is 16 times the size of an A4...

And I think a A0 sheet is 1m²

A0 is pretty big.  A1 might be a better size and really all depends on the actually dimensions of the map itself.  The map looks to be more around a 24x36 which you then could make into 36x48 but that's pretty damn big.

 

Never mind.  The map is almost perfectly square.  So A0 could be a decent size.  For those who are wondering that's 33.1"

It ia indeed almost perfectly square. I printed it here at work ( University ) so no problems. Dunno how Commercial Shops whould handle it tho.

is there a game file for the map?

 

It would be awesome if I could just copy the appropriate game file, say for the complete version of the ingame map, and have it printed. My dad works for a civil engineering firm. Id bet dollars to dimes they would have some means of reading and printing the file.

Which file would have the map with the contour lines?

I would like to get a high resolution map of the one with the road in yellow, and dirt roads in black parallel lines, and gray for buildings, and green for vegetation. The maps with contour lines would help me out more, since I could follow hills by sight and get around quite easily.

 

I'll try to convert the file myself from the game data, to make it in the highest resolution possible.

If you have a Android phone ( not sure if Apple has it )there is an app called IZurvive in playstore. It has updated Maps including , store, water, gasoline, locations and Known military Spawns. Even has the deer stand locations. As far as I can tell it's very accurate and it's also updated.Even has a Satellite view option.

Also it has DayZ mod Maps
