Multible accounts?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there was anyway I could have multiple characters because I play the current one with my friend and he is rarely on and I don't want to go off on my own and have it take ages to get back to him so I was wondering if there was anyway I could have another account for solo gameplay?

Buy another copy of the game on a separate steam account. That's about it

or use one game mode character for you and your buddy and another just for you.

Yep, you have to either go A. One go hardcore and normal, or B. Buy another one.

Take option A for now

Save option B for when the game is more developed.

When the game is more developed he wont really need option B as there will be private hives so characters specific to just that server so he could just choose to play a good private hive with his friend and a public on his own or vice versa in which ever style he wants 1pp or 3pp..

Insert moderator saying more than one account is against the rules...

At least that's how I interpreted it. Why? Maybe they can answer..

Why should it be. And to my knowledge, there's been problems that 2 copies of DayZ "merged," thus still resulting in just 1 character shared on 2 accounts.
