Unconscious/dead bug STILL!?

Ok I bought this game a week and change ago and have STILL yet to play it. I login unconscious, respawn to dead. I have searched google for an answer to this and have come up with nothing that actually WORKS. I have changed my name/gender/ tried many, many servers,uninstalled and restalled and waited patiently for todays update for the fix they claim? to have and yet the problem is still there. Am I ALONE in this or did I just throw away 30 bucks? I dont want the alpha excuse, its a PAID for alpha. Buggy/sloppey I expect but a black screen that says "you are unconsious"? really? Really? 

Is there anyone else with this problem still?

I haven't encountered that problem but I've heard it's fixed and is now a feature. Once you're unconscious, you really are unconscious and can be revived by a defibrillator.

 

I wonder if deleting your DayZ profile would work in My Documents?

Unfortunately yes. Almost 9 times out of 10 when you try to respawn on my server you will have that bug. My servers rank has dropped from 30 to 200. Hopefully it is solved soon. I hope.

How I fixed this when it happened to me was as follows:

 

1.Log into regular server wait for the unconscious message.

2.Hit respawn.

3.Log out

4.Log into a hardcore server

5.Log out

6.Log back into a regular server

you should now spawn on the beach.

I hope this odd fix works for you.
