'Error Creating Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine'

When i load up dayz it does a black sreen and the says 'Error Creating Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine'. I have spend endless hours searching for a soloution and have not found one, i would appreciate some help :)

I have DirectX 10 and i am on Windows Vista Home Basic SP2.

Here are my specs:

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.0GHz

4 GB RAM

32 Bit

ATI FireMV 2250

I'm pretty sure DayZ doesen't even run on that hardware anyway.
