Zooming in on a target...

Recommended Posts

Hello all...

Can I fire a quick question at you guys about zooming in on a target with and without a scope..

I'm not sure if I'm bugged or not but when I use a scope I press the right mouse button and the scope comes up but I can't zoom in like this guy in this video http://youtube.com/watch?v=ur0mX00Rm2Y..

I have seen videos where a player like Frankie1080p is using iron sights and he's able to zoom in on a target..

I have gone in my control options and changed them but noting seems to work, I use the + and - buttons and nothing, I have held down the right mouse button (once I have pulled my sights/scope up) and nothing..

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't get the zoom to work, do you guys have any ideas?

Thanks

I think he does that through video editing so you can see better as the viewer.  If you want to see farther down the scope, turn your "field of view" all the way to the lowest possible in your video settings

Only the 14x scope has an extra zoom level, all the other scopes and sights are fully zoomed in once you aim down them.

No prob!   Yeah whenever I need to see farther, I just lower my field of view settings all the way down.  Then scan around.

Yeah I do that from time to time myself...

I've been mucking about with my setting for the last few days with this zooming issue I thought I had, I'm surprised I didn't get shot myself haha..

At least I know now and I can concentrate on running away like a little girl any time I see anyone lol...

Thanks again Johnny...
