Can anyone tell me what the little rifle symbol with the three dashes underneath it means once you kill a zombie?

That's the icon that pops up when you're allowed to loot a corpse or unconscious player. Zombies at the moment have no loot and their bodies just disappear.  In the mod you were able to loot their bodies and sometimes they would have loot.

Ahh!  Okay...I see.  Well thank you for that explanation.  That's been bugging me ever since I've started playing this very addictive game.  So perhaps once this game is no longer an Alpha, we'll be able to loot zombie corpse's that won't disappear right away.  Cool...
