Can someone explain to me the hardcore server hive(s)?

Hey guys.

 

 

Idk what's up with the hardcore servers, but it seems like my player is always switching between two characters in the hardcore servers.  Any idea why? I no like it :(

The hardcore hive is seperated from regular.

You have only one character on each of both.

But, if you have signed for the experimental branch you have another set on the experimental hive.

Real, and Fake.

 

The real ones are PROPERLY set to be hardcore servers. They are thus 3pp disabled and saving to the hardcore database.

The fake ones are NOT PROPERLY set. They simply have 3pp disabled in the config. But because they are INCORRECTLY setup, they save to the normal database.

 

Problem is that the server browser picks up the fake one's as Hardcore.

Okay thanks!  I knew I had two characters, one for regular servers and one for hardcore servers, but it seemed like I had TWO hardcore server characters. It is really annoying.. seems like Vilayer or whatever it's called and another type that have my character as a different hardcore character.

From what I have seen the MPGS hardcore servers seem to be set up properly, while Vilayer hardcore servers use your regular character.

one regular stable, one regular experimental, one hardcore stable and one hardcore experimental. although I could be wrong.
