Anyone know how moddable the standalone is?

Hey guys, me again in case anyone recognizes me. Now, I'm currently not a fan of DayZ for reasons I won't mention again, but I would be interested in purchasing it and modding it to my liking. Anyone know how moddable the standalone is or will be in the future?

It's not your server.  You are a renter and it's what the hoster allows you to do.  So perhaps go on your hosting forums and ask there.

 

Just to add, it's also what Bohemia allows the hosters to be able to do I believe.

I've played the mod, not the standalone. Your point is nonsensical. It makes absolutely no sense to say the game would be ruined because shitty servers exist. Do shitty servers just make the good ones magically disappear? That's just stupid. The mod was, obviously, able to be modded and that didn't ruin it at all. You're making no sense.

The only mods that should be allowed is new maps.  Being able to customize loadouts for players, giving uber gear and items is just bad and is not what DayZ is about.  The modded versions of the mod turned what was suppose to be a survival game into a cheap CoD rip-off with zombies.  No survival and just straight pvp.  If that's what I wanted I wouldn't have bought the SA

Just because your intelligence is inadequate doesn't mean I'm making no sense. Once mods became popular because you could instantly get geared up and start killing other players, nobody played the original DayZ mod. So like I said before. Modifications Can Flying Fuck Off.

I didn't like things like traders and such, I think being able to buy your gear instead of scavenging is not fun at all. It's the reason I don't play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (Szone) Online.

Like I said though, I didn't find it very fun. Literally all of your equipment is purchased, there's like no quest reward or scavenged items. :/
