Greenslade92 0 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Okay, so I was just casually walking along the abandoned boat and lagged off the top.. Obviously to my death. Losing all your gear sucks bigtime as i'm sure the majority of the DayZ community will agree. However I made special effort to get my new character to the corpse to get all my stuff back.. After a lot of walking and dodging zombies etc I find my corpse with all my gear intact. However for some reason I cannot loot it. I assume this must be a bug as just before this I had looted another dead player and that worked fine. Anyway in my mad rage as you can imagine I just decided to top myself and decided to jump off the same point. Better that way than starving or dying from a zombie I guess :D. Anyway the question im asking is whether anyone knows if this is just a bug or whether they have implemented something to stop you looting old characters?
