Super_Duty 466 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) Did a quick forum seach trying to confirm if in fact that your stamina is affected by your inventory or said weight of the gear that you carry. Has this been confirmed to be active in-game? My current character loadout includes a hiking backback with several cases (plastic) and one ammo box, various weapons, medical supplies, food etc. From what I've been able to determine, the distance you travel before huffing and puffing / gasping for air seems significantly degraded vs. a fresh spawn. My current character is energize, hydrated and health so imho it would seem to be active. Thoughts or comments? TokumeiSennin 34 Posted February 15, 2014 I don't think its is at the moment. Its should be same like effect of stance, running during crouch stance should cost more energie than prone.
Wheunis 228 Posted February 15, 2014 That system is currently being worked on and (semi)active on stable servers for fall damage. Stamina system of any sort has not yet been implemented, but probably will be (pretty soon if i have to guess, based on whats going on atm with the devs). Seeing as a weight check already exists for fall damage, I would imagine it will affect stamina and speed once they put those in place.
deepfried 95 Posted February 15, 2014 I think they should just copy the ACE fatigue/weight system. Would make carry weight a real consideration and would stop the silly 20km/h non-stop sprint.
whothehellishe 81 Posted February 15, 2014 I agree, the unlimited sprint has to go.
Badass Potato 15 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) The ultimate sprint was in since 1st day but everyone started complaining that its imposible to play the game so it was removed. Edited February 15, 2014 by Badass Potato

Unlimited run and unlimited jog need to go too, subject to weight. Its just not reasonable to be able to run 10km without stopping whilst carrying a full pack and a rifle. Edit: i would qualify this by saying they should wait to introduce vehicles before adding authentic fatigue. Edited February 15, 2014 by Continuity

Stamina system is a priority on the roadmap. It will come sooner than private hives will, I expect.
Martmital 436 Posted February 15, 2014 Gotta bring in vehicles before you dream of touching the fatigue. But yeah, they will add this eventually I assume.
eleventhavenue 204 Posted February 15, 2014 The ultimate sprint was gone since 1st day but everyone started complaining that its imposible to play the game so it was removed. I think it had more to do with it cuasing people to fall into eternal comas than people complaining about not being able to sprint at a speed of 28 km/h for ever... I am actually pro-fatigue while being anti-vehicle at the same time. Said it before in other places: (MY OPINION: 0 fuel/powered vehicles EVER - bicycles/skateboards/hanggliders = fine.) But even then, Fatigue isn't a perfect excuse for vehicles in my world.
