Lagging out at specific times.

Hello,

For the past week or so I have experienced severe network freezes each day at approx. 6:30 PM GMT.

During this timeframe I am unable to interact with anything and everything is completely frozen, I can still move around and I can see other players running in place.

This  issue is persistent and I could really use some help, when the whole thing freezes it stays that way until the next morning, meaning I can't play DayZ after 6:30 PM.

Well it must be something with your ISP, maybe they limit speed at busy times.

I thought so at first, but then I did a speed test right after it happened, and everything was normal. I am not sure if it's relevant, but my friend has the exact same internet as me and he doesn't seem to have the same problems.

This used to happen to me alot when i was younger whilst playing minecraft :) happy days.

 

But yea it's your DNS server. Get a new router should fix it, if it doesn't i really can't help you. I'm no IT-Technician
