infiltrator 275 Posted February 14, 2014 I don't know what causes the glitch but I've had ammo disappear on a constant basis for me, usually when I eject the remaining bullets from my mag, some of the stacks (usually those that are non-full) just flat out disappear. Sometimes they just have a "0" ammo count to them, and sometimes there's no ammo count (just bullet icon). Has anyone figured out how can this be avoided until they fix it?
Conrad_The_Comrade 577 Posted February 14, 2014 What type of rounds is this happening with?
infiltrator 275 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) This happened to me with the M4, magnum and ACP rounds. Edited February 14, 2014 by Infiltrator
crazykage 1063 Posted February 14, 2014 can confirm: also with moisin and sks 7.62 Really annoying when I have a full stack of 10 sks rounds, and a BOX of sks rounds. If I "dump" out the box, the 10 stack turns into a 5 and the box turns into a stack of 0.

BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted February 14, 2014 Had the same with 7.62x39 ammo: Emptied a cardboard box of it and my stack of 2 rounds disappeared.

kitthegreat 43 Posted February 14, 2014 I have experienced this several times today.
razguul@gmail.com 80 Posted February 14, 2014 Confirmed, this happens a lot, tends to mainly be when there are non-full stacks sitting in your inventory.
santa 10 Posted February 14, 2014 Confirmed. Happens lately, especially when stack of 20 bullets becomes 0.
custombark 16 Posted February 14, 2014 Yup, I've had issues with it. Reloading with a clip when there's ammo in sks chamber bugs out non-clip ammo to zero. Emptying ammo boxes when there's loose ammo of the same kind can bug out unboxing ammo to zero. When I dropped the loose ammo then unboxed the ammo, it successfully unboxed to the correct amounts.Possible workaround, though I only tried it once.
jffr363 33 Posted February 14, 2014 Yeah, this seems to happen all the time to me as well, but for a me a workaround is to always empty boxes of ammo in a section of my inventory with no sacks of ammo. For example, I move my stacks of ammo up to my shirt and vest, and make sure to only empty boxes out in my backpack. This seems to avoid the bug.
irishroy 1347 Posted February 14, 2014 Magnum, here, too.Bad thing.
strongtent 74 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) You think that's weird, how about filling a mag then logging back in to have the mag no longer in the gun. Edited February 14, 2014 by Strongtent
infiltrator 275 Posted February 17, 2014 Fixed in next update according to dean: http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/1y5eku/take_care_when_emptying_ammo_boxes_in_your/cfhiz2u
savini 587 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) I had this happen on the experimental branch. This was yesterday however and I have not tested with the newer update. The video below is a supplement to the bug report. [Edit: The ammo that is appearing on the left side is ammo I had dropped just before I started recording] Edited February 17, 2014 by Rhodes
Etherimp 1323 Posted February 17, 2014 Confirmed.. Had it happen 2-3 times with my 7.62. Also heard a friend complain about it..
