Is it just me or does this gun feel very accurate

It is but if you fire with the both barrels function and miss without a reloader your in allot of  trouble.

It's more of a ranch gun. Mid to shirt range. Meant for putting down horses, the occasional wild animal. It will feel very accurate in those ranges. Of course you wouldn't engage long range with it, however.

Very cool gun, but yeah, the lack of optics make its accuracy relative.  You can't really capitalize on that accuracy because you just can't see far enough to make it worthwhile.

I still love the gun and it is my choice of weapon when just wandering around meeting people.

Based on what I read from other posts, if its a 7000$ gun in RL then it better be damn accurate.

It might be accurate but does terrible damage

I got into a close range fight and hit the guy 3 times and he still lived and knocked me unconcious

But I did break his legs and my teammate shot another 4 magnum rounds in to him before the enemy died

Though I agree it's accurate, headshots are the only way to go with it or don't bother

You should try the double barrel simultaneous fire next time you run into some one like that and see what it does.

"More of a ranch gun"? Where do you people keep getting these ideas? I really need to know. SERIOUSLY I NEED TO KNOW ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!

Its a German made hunting rifle modeled on the popular European double guns and combination guns, It costs between $2000-$7000.

Guns such as this were popular as African hunting rifles. The B95 is VERY accurate IRL. It has arrangements for the mounting of optics.

The B95 is as much a ranch rifle as a Rolls-Royce Phantom is a ranch truck.

Yeah I think I will, I like the look of the gun and the accuracy so maybe that will make up for it

What do you "you people"?

Had a similar model growing up. The term "ranch gun" means it's not fit for long range duty, such as a mosin, nor is it fit for cqb in mass numbers. It's a good general, all purpose gun.

Google next time, you'll look less the idiot.

When I say "you people" I mean the other people who think its a "Western gun" or a "survival gun"

I own a "similar" gun as well a Savage model 24 it has plastic furniture, it's a 222/20, It cost me $125 and all it has in common with the B95 is the general arrangement of an over and under firearm It is however accurate.

I invite you to google B95, NVM I'll do it for you

Clearly you kids are flat out ignoring the fact that it is a general use rifle. It will not range a mosin, nor will it put down a pack of people running up on you.

What makes you think any mosin you find in 2014 is fit for any kind of long range use ?

I have seen the videos, but I can tell you an iron sight mosin is worthless beyond 300 yards.

It will invariably range a mosin.

About the best you are going to get from a mosin in its original stock with its original barrel is 2MOA (and that is only if you hand pick from a pile with a bore scope), the blazer will give you 1MOA.

Just stop now, it has become obvious I cannot educate you

I figured, I was just adding my two cents!  But my mosin is of suspect quality, shooting junk ammo, so who knows what a mosin expert can do!

It has more wood than a wood stove too!

Tell you what bub, ive got three hours left at work. I'll put in the research. Now if your right, and the B95 is all that and a bag of chips, and not a just a general use rifle, I'll make a new thread with your name in the title, stating how right you were.

However, if and when I'm right, it's going on my sig that your an idiot, and I post a lot.

I know a guy that built a mosin that shoots 1/2 MOA with hand picked mill surplus ammo, but all that is left of the original rifle is the action, it has a hand-built stock, a hand-built trigger and a bull barrel. He did it when we were both in college to prove that the mosin could be made accurate.

Mill surplus mosins in their original stocks and condition shooting whatever mill surplus ammo you can get (what we have in game) are not going to give you any better than 2 MOA (and that is generous) barring finding that 1 in 10,000 rifle, they have seen to much war, to much time, and in the case of wartime production mosins not enough attention to detail.

It is not all that and a bag of chips, it is simply more accurate than a mosin nagant, not a ranch rifle and not a general use rifle and most certainly not a survival gun, it can fill all those rolls, but none are its intended rolls.

It has fatal flaws in dayz, despite it being made with integral scope mount points it can't take a scope in dayz at the moment, and its real world flaw, only holds two rounds.

I don't need or want a thread, I just want the misinformation about guns to stop.

You're going to post with a sig about me owning an idiot? Will you be giving me this idiot? Can I have my idiot make me a sandwich? On second thought I would rather you not, I cannot support or condone slavery. (sorry had to not normally a grammar nazi) :D
