People are metagaming. Don't like their spawn? Respawn until they get where they want. Artificially increases death statistic. And ofcourse, you now start without a gun. So there's a trial and error element involved.

I thought Rocket said that the timer doesn't start until a few minutes in so that it wouldn't take into account the respawners.

wondered this. Also noticed my friends have died a lot more, recently. pretty sure its just a culmination of people having to adapt to the new required style of play, along with the temporary infinite zombies and other recent issues.

Timer doesnt start for a few minutes due to people respawning.

So yeah, 30mins or whatever is accurate. Ouch.

I hate to say it, but I'd like to see them pay more attention to this, it shouldnt be that low, that means a LOT of people are dying really soon when others are on for days... kinda sad. I dont feel as much like i'm surviving as just preparing to die...
