When you get knocked unconscious, how long does it take for the greyness to go away? Mine lasted for around a half hour, I could not so much as find a door really. How long does it last, how do u speed it up? Thanks in advance!

When your screen goes black and white, you lost blood. When your screen is blurry, you lost health. Those are different things.

 

You only regain health, if your blood level is full. You only gain full blood, by receiving multiple blood bags or saline bags or by eating and drinking till you gain the "healing" or "healthy" status.

 

To gain the "healing" status, your water and energy level has to be high enough. From my experience, eating a bag of rice and then drinking from a well should earn you the healing status if you just spawned. (you have to wait a bit after drinking and eating, till the stuff in your stomach is digested)

 

If you have the healing / healthy status, your blood slowly regenerates. When it is full, your health slowly starts to regenerate, if you keep your healing / healty status.

 

Or at least this is how I understood the system.

You have two separate meters on this game which determine how healthy your character currently is,

One of them is the blood meter, pretty well-known this decides wether your screen is grey or colourful.

High colour - high blood

Low colour - low blood

Simples

On the other hand the health meter is a whole new thing, it determines the blueness of your screen and wether your character stays alive or not. You can still be alive in dayz if you have no blood and on the death screen, as long as someone is there to blood transfuse you or saline you, then bam. But you must have a positive amount of "health" for this to work

In order to regenerate colour (I,e blood) you must get the healthy status and you'll be fine from there

In order to regenerate clearness (health) you must get the stage 2 healing status which will recover blood faster and health

I've eaten until stuffed, drank until I was full, used bandages and I cant seem to get color =/. All I see if black and white and its getting a little irritating lol. Where is the blood and health bars?

Yes, these differences I know. I was talking about the different status updates you can get, namely "healing" and "healthy". I think it makes a difference in the rate of blood regain.

It seems like your free look was activated. It is usually bound to the "Alt"-key.

Maybe it is locked. Try to restart your game and keep an eye on your alt-key, maybe something sticks in there.

I think healthy is just what you get when you are healing but full on health and blood.

Just earlier I was healthy, got hit by zombie, changed to healing, short while later I was ok again and had healthy, without eating anything.

Stuffed has nothing to do with energy levels, that just means that your stomach is full. You need to eat until you get the "energized" status, then you'll start regenerating. Let your stomach rest for a bit, then keep eating. You need to get about 5000 Kcal in you, which is more than 12 cans of beans.

If someone is on the unconsious screen, yes. Dead screen, depends on their health (just try and you'll find out).

i think this should be revised for eg i was shot one time and was knocked out for few minutes , mate was shot earlier he wouldnt wake up but was unconcious for 30minutes i gave him saline and he jumped up but otherwise he would of been stuck in it.

 

5 minutes is enough for anyone anymore is just annoyance with no real meaning or purpose.
