Please help me. Water Spawn -> no Respawn available

Hi DayZ Community,

 

I have a problem with my character. I played yesterday and had the GPU LEAK Bug. In this time, my character run continuous forward, I have reconnect to the server and I spawn under the water and fall down to the ground.

 

I can't run, I can't move, I can't do anything but If my Character touch the ground in the water I die. Now I have the problem I can't push "Respawn", it is grey, not touchable.

 

I tried to connect on servers with the name "Testserver - Char reset". I have tried hundrets of servers with this name :-( but no one has reset my frozen Character in the water :-(.

 

 

 

Now my ask for you. Has one of you an IP for me of a 100% character reset server? Or an offical reset character server?

 

 

Please help me :-)

maybe this will help:

set your filters to ping:1000
then connect to the server with the highest ping
after spawig(or not) connnect back to a low ping server

have you tried turning it off and on again?

if no server helps, i would try deleting config files(save them somewhere though) and try again, if that helps put your config files back... it might help...

That would only erase his video and key bindings.

Has nothing to do with your character.

 

Dean is adding the suicide option soon.

But Im quite sure you need a weapon for that.

I think it should be available without a weapon : Biting own tounge off -> bludgeon to death.

I try to explain.

 

I had a water spawn and was dead. If I push "ESC", the "Respawn"-Button was not availble.

 

But my Character give me the status hungry in the Chat, so I connected on a "Veteran"-server for faster hunger.

 

=> My character was in the "you are dead" screen after one hour it has been switched to the unsiscous screen and then was the "Respawn"-button availble :-)

 

So now I can play again :-)

 

 

Thanks for your help but I solved it with waiting for hungerdead :-)

Hey guys, this topic seems valid to the bug I have encountered and would like to report. I am new here on this forum so I hope this does add to the devlopement process here. I looked in dev tracker and do not seem to have rights to post there. It started Feb 10th 2014.

 

I ran off a dock into some water, by mistake. I fell through the water like it was ground and broke my leg. At this point I drowned. (^^) the issue though is respawn was not available. So I waited. around 4 hours later I came back with "you are dead" on screen and no respawn. No admin on server to help. I logged off and tried another server. Same issue. I have all my gear. Die. Then can't respawn.

I blew away every dayz file and tried again. Same issue. Hardcore servers work.  So after some searching I saw pqs happening today for the servers. I waited tried a new build and the same issue ( with fresh install)

 

Any ideas?

 

 

edit : I noticed just now I get messages about thirst and hunger ( new for this issue) maybe it thinks I am still alive somewhere.

If "Yes", then try to open your inventory. If you can open it, you don't dead, you are in the same bug how I.

 

So you can try the helps of this people here or my try to wait again a few hours to the hunger status and wait for hungerdead.

 

If "No" I have no idea^^ :-)

 

 

P.s:

 

Yes you are in the same bug how I, you got the Hunger message :-), so oyu must wait for hungerdead :-)

- I am alive at start, it drops me in the water like I spawn at the top of the water then fall in, it breaks my leg, then I "die" But I can still see my inventory.

I followed the tests above and had no luck. Maybe I will die twice :D if the server doesnt kick me. lol

I am trying the hunger death now :). Hope it works. Or at least I can get some diag info some how for the devs?

 

 

Edit : I can drop my items off in the water. Ha.

SECOND Edit : I am now fixed on other servers but not the one it happened on. That server appears to log in with errors. (shrug) alpha.

I had the same problem, but I had the chance to be near the boat

i had leg broken. I could climb the stairs...suicide my self....fly like a bird
