A few ideas i have to make DayZ more realistic !

Here's a few ideas i have to make DayZ a bit more realistic !  :)

 

- The ability to pick up incounscious, broken leg and dead people on your shoulders (This will slow you down when you pick them up of course)

- The ability for dead people to turn if they didn't get shot in the head.

- (THIS IDEA IS FOR WHEN THE GAME IS COMPLETLY FIXED AND NO MORE GLITCHY ZOMBIES AND SUCH) The ability to turn when you're bitten by a zombie: slow down the process for 2 hours IRL: take pills, Completly stop the process: have an hacksaw with you and cut your own arm in less than 20 secs after bite, other people can cut your arm for you with anything that cuts. (Axe and such.....)

I like the idea about picking up the unconscious and injured, but Rocket said that they will never implement a system where people turn, as the "zombies" are actually infected. The survivors are immune to the disease, and so will never turn into an infected.

Cool idea but I believe DayZ back story is more along the lines of an infection that killed the majority of the population, turned a large portion farel(zombies) and the players are the last of the population that were immune to the disease, now trying to survive in a harsh world

-No need to be implemented,it will further complicate things (people will find a way to exploit it,also broken leg patients can crawl their way)

-No,zombies in this game are not dead,just infected

-No,players are imune to the disease,they can't get infected.

1. Yep, seems like a good idea, I agree. Pretty sure there was an idea like that in the mod, with dragging people (Or maybe that was just Arma?)

 

2. Too server intensive.
