2 of us scout ahead while the others are at a water source and we run into some guys

We try to contact most players including groups to determine if they need help or to see if they are hostile........

I didn't say drop your weapon or die, I actually said a friendly hello twice before I asked him nicely to put it away after he didn't respond and drew his weapon to which they responded by all drawing their weapons and advancing on our position without responding, that's about as hostile as you can get

Simply saying "hello" back could have drastically changed the outcome

Said this before, we are friendly players, look at my other videos before making accusations you can't back up

They were acting 100% hostile, if you respond to someone sayid hello by getting your guns out and charging at them....... Expect to get shot at

Thank you, Yes we would have let them pass, apart from the guns they didn't have much supplies and we were loaded so would have happily shared with them

Thanks but bandicam is currently the only video program that doesn't eat my FPS, I'll upgrade it at some point and remove the watermark

Yeah that probably would have been a better thing to say, but they came across as hostile very quickly

I'm not saying you did anything wrong.  And i was summarising how i interpretative your interaction. You didn't say 'friendly', you said something along the lines of 'hey guys, put your guns away, we would have shot you if we were hostile'..and i think you shot 1st.. not that you had much choice by that time.

 

But confronting 3 armed players, some with masks is very rarely gonna end in the exchange of beans!

 

I'm not criticising your play, you likely could have killed them before they got a shot off if you'd shoot on sight.. just commenting of a vid the starts with were friendly and ends you killing 3 players you could have let go.  They may not have understood English, they might have feared being killed or robbed by a lone bandit once they were disarmed.. clearly they should have responded on VOIP.. i'm curious why they didn't..

You guys are lucky they were bad shots, especially the person recording. That was a terrible engagement and if they had an ounce of accuracy they would have taken most if not all of you out. You should have kept flanking around the guy who was flanking to the right instead of ignoring him as well. Also from what I gathered from the video, none of your buddies flanked to the left or the right, instead you let yourselves get flanked.

Yeah, although he did hit me on the first shot oh and the reason I came out of cover is because earlier when I shot at someone the invisible barrier around the tree blocked my shots and I thought he same would happen again

I cut the part out where the other 2 guys went after the one with the orange backpack

He ran straight towards where they were coming from and yet they couldn't see him so they were looking for him, I sent them up the hill to watch our backs and after they searched the area he appeared from behind a tree right next to them, we suspect he found a bush to log off in and waited a few minutes and logged in behind us as they did search that area and moments later he was right on top of them

Oh and also, when the guy in the orange backpack ran off the other guy with me went unconscious from the guy in front of me, meaning I was alone and could not follow the flanking guy until the other guy was dead

The other 2 guys with me were about 300m away as we were scouting ahead while they filled their canteens at solnichny

However I think this taught us not to split up at any point again lol

And I do think we need work on our tactics a bit more

Most of them actually would have fired as soon as these guys drew their weapons

I'm getting tired of people who just post without reading the other replies

According to the vote I made on there, I'm far more friendly than most players

I think you need to reconsider your view on bandits because I think you will find your misinformed
