Attempting to handcuff a guy.... aaaand he's gone.

Backstory: me and some friends were looting the hospital, when one of us sees a guy glitching through the wall. Since I am the only one with an M4 I decided to hold him at gunpoint (we do rob people, but do not kill them unless it's extremely necessary). So far, it's all good. While I have the hostage under control, my buddy goes out to handcuff him. Turns out he had been messing with his key-bindings and changed his Action keybinding to something else. The hostage figures out that this is his opportunity; he flips us off, and while I was still wondering what was going on he runs out and left me completely baffled (I did not shoot because I did not want to kill him). I try to chase him, could have shot him in the back but again I did not want to kill him. We looked through the town, but he was gone... major respect.

 

Disclaimer: yes, I know we handled this in a completely noob way. Sometimes you slip up, it's part of the game. I just thought this encounter was hilarious and major props to the hostage for having the balls to flip us off, run away and ACTUALLY get away.

Haha. Perhaps next time the guy trying to cuff him should not stand between the victim and the guy covering him with the gun. That guy noticed it, and even had time for a little goodbye gesture.

 

Thanks for posting, though. These kind of fails are usually not only more entertaining than the usual "I am badass hero, I killed these 6 bandits" videos, but also much more informative. Also beans for not killing him when you probably could have.
