Is sweetFX or FXAAinjector safe to use in DayZ SA, or does it cause player bans?

Recommended Posts

Is there any risk running sweet fx in Dayz Standalone? I tried to search for answer but I could only find speculation.

Has rocket mentioned anything about injectors causing a ban?

If someone who is reading this and is using sweetfx in-game, please reply with your experience using them.

Thank you and give me the can opener

What is Sweet FX, from your post, i'd guess it was an injector, which injects scripts/hacks into the game, unless your doing something else, i doubt it's allowed.

Not hacks, it's usually totally ok in games, it changes some of the graphics options. It ''injects'' colours, but you can't make people pink, or something stupid like that.

Do a search, it's an awesome program, would be nice to know if it's allowed or not though, officially.

Its allowed in every otherRV engine game (arma arma 2 arma 3 TOH) there is no cheating in it adds depth to the graphics by cranking contrast adding subtle shadders etc ..Makes rv games look real good ..( used it for years havent been battle eye or vac banned in dayz yet or do i expect to be as injector is a illused word for it ...

Edit check the link that was posted by caboose shows exactly what it is and why its awesome.......

A lot of online games flag this as third party software but I'm not sure about VAC.  Anyway for those of you running Nvidia cards, cranking the digital vibrance up to around 75% will achieve a nice effect without the risk of getting banned

Your fine, SweetFX and the like was used in Arma series without issues even posted on in the BI forums.  VAC will not ban for a shader/color injector unless you are trying to do something else.

Well the key is that these do not inject into another process, but rather create their own. Said programs Inject SMAA dlls which is a Dr3D proxy dll that redirects the Dr3D render surface to another set surface, runs an extra shader pass on that surface and returns the output.
