Can someone explain repair kits?

Recommended Posts

So we had weapon cleaning kits that I still don't know the use of. Now sewing kits. I tried to repair a worn ttso jacket with a worn sewing kit twice and only ended up with a danged sewing kit. Anyone want to explain how these things work to benefit you in game?

Whether weapon kit or sewing kit: Items won't go higher than "worn". So use it on stuff that's BELOW worn. Using it on pristine items might / will make them worn, too. :)

I think his "lolwat" was posted because when I checked in, OP only had "So we had wep" in his post before editing it. Which is why he posted "lolwat?" :)

The max level you can repair an item to is "worn." The sewing kit also loses one level of quality per use. So it has a maximum of 4 uses if the kit is pristine.
