You run faster in this than you do in the mod, in the mod you also started running slower after running for a while.  This map is bigger, but you can cover ground in it faster.

I think its actually cause you can sprint faster. I don't believe the map is any smaller.

 

I could swear to god than you can run faster in the mod

Its a lot smaller. You can literally see Misty Hill from Berezino. Thats ridiculous. And don't give me draw distance crap. The Earth is round.

 

Well this isn't the world is it, it is a frickin simulation.
