Bullet drop is already a thing, so what is it you're asking for exactly?

Also, the ballistics were (or should have been) tweaked in today's patch.

Even modern ammunition is affected by gravity.

Instead of calling it bullet drop, think of it as a ballistic curve instead, this way you don't get surprised, when you overshoot targets, who are closer than they appear.

That depends on what you're referring to. Bullet drop (or ballistics curve, as Dallas said) has always been in the game. The patch fixed some inaccuracies with it.

Fun little fact, bullets with rifling actually go up before they start to drop. I don't know the exact specs for every weapon, but I do for the M4. I'm of course talking about real life with this and I'm not sure if it is in game or not, but its somewhat safe to assume that it isn't.

Rounds shot from an M4 go up and reach their peak at 220m, being around 24 inches above where you shot and leveling out again at around 300m. Of course this is if they are zero'd to 300m, which is probably the most common zero range for am M4 or any other similar AR.

I would love to see this in game, or something with the similar affect.

Check with Gews.
