I found my very first SK5 and in excitement I switch servers to show my friends. Only to find I have to wait now a couple minutes. Alright no big deal I understand to stop ghosting and hopping as much. Then find out that servers only save a couple minutes before you log off. That is a horrible idea. This does NOT affect server hoppers because all they have to do is wait a extra minute or two then log off. It also will get people killed more easily because I logged in standing in the middle of the AIRFIELD! I was in a bush out side of it. luckily i didn't get shot but this is a horrible idea.

No, timers are staying. Location not updating is a known issue as noted in the patch notes. You should read the patch notes. There are important things in there useful to people testing this game.

I said I was fine with the timers I under stand that but the fact that you have to wait a couple minutes that is a horrible idea. Whether this is alpha, beta, or launched. If it is just a bug then shit happens I can accept that.

Timers stay ( id make them longer lol )  yes the location bug is a real pain but it will be fixed......
