Will DayZ be able to use AMD Mantle?

I was just wondering whether the RV Engine could use the Mantle drivers somehow for AMD Cards seeing as Mantle is now released and people can get gains of up to 50%+ Extra FPS in games, like Battlefield 4. It would be nice to have some boosts on the engine but it being so CPU Demanding im not too sure

People bring this up a lot but there has been no official word. If they do implement this, I don't see them doing it for a very long time.

And why's that? I was getting people's opinions on if Mantle would be good to have in Standalone not demanding to have it...

It's like asking if crossfire or SLi will be good.  Wait till it's not in alpha, it'll be too hard to get a proper response with an unstable build

It would be good, but meh, my 6850 wouldn't have that treatment :(
