So after 70 hours of gameplay i've finaly found the pilot helmet.  I was starting to think it was a myth.  I wish you could put down the face guard but I think it looks pretty awesome with a gas mask.  For any one looking for one I found it in a barracks on top of a locker.  Me and my friend have both found one in diffrent baracks so I think they might be more common than before the patch or maybe i'm super lucky.

They are more common (for testing opurposes, you know :)). I found them in the military buildings at NEAF and NWAF as well. But I just tried one and thought "that white stripe...i'll stick to my ballistic helmet...or my blue ushanka." ;)

i found 3 in 2 hours, one damaged and 2 pristine.

Found two at the wrecked ship on the coast, and a couple in the mansion style houses that have the pianos!

Found a few of them in barracks, I think they are not rare anymore.

 

Can't say I think you look pretty awesome, you look like a psychopath and will probably get KOS'ed ;).
