stuligin 18 Posted February 6, 2014 Yarr ! so there i was, on the second floor of a hospital just SE of the NE airfield when i heard the zombie sounds, shrugging my shoulders, i went back to debating weather to ditch the worn m4 for the pristine sks, when i was attacked thought he floor by a zombie on the first floor, arghhhh ! anyways long story short, seems he hit me fairly good as by the time i made it to the third floor, i was in that faded color look, now i am healthy and hydrated, is there a formula or any thing i can guestimate for blood to regen? IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted February 6, 2014 If you're healthy and hydrated you should be slowly regaining blood already. You might need to be energized which just means eating some food (providing you aren't stuffed)
Hutch (DayZ) 116 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) It's all explained in detail here ...https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9YSGX22B6Z3k9-hJzJcz4w/videos You need to be hydrated and energized for 20 minutes to get the "Healthy" status. When Healthy, Blood regenerates first and when that's full health regenerates.Depending on your water and energy levels it can regenerate at 1 or 3 per second. Best to check out those Merino videos if you haven't seen them yet.Since those videos were made, the stomach capacity has been modified a patch or two ago and this patch lets you know when your water and energy levels are high by giving you the "Hydrated" and "Energized" status indicators. Though I'm not sure yet if anyone knows what levels those indicators come on at. The Healthy status indicator was previously stuck so that once you got it, it would never turn off.So even if your water and energy levels dropped to below healthy levels and the healing effect stopped, the indicator would remain until you got a replacement indicator such as "Sick" to overwrite it.Not sure if that was fixed or not but I wouldn't count on it, so don't trust the "Healthy" status, just make sure you're hydrated and energized.
