Random Grocery Store Story

Found my way into a Grocery Store with a fresh spawn around Chernogorsk's outskirts and met another player. Many questions running through my mind, is he a bandit? will he shoot on site?... After weighting up risk vs reward I decided to approach him with a 'Friendly?'... he offered drink/food and a brand new SKS in pristine condition and wished me well on my way. I didn't expect his kindness and am pleased to see people in dayz are not all out to shoot on sight. If your the player that did this i'd love to hear from you :)

Cool people exist. Not many, but they do. And they spread out, slower than KoS'ers, maybe; but they do. Once you do something nice to someone, it's more likely this person does the same with other people. Being nice spreads nice people, but the vicious act of killing on sight acts faster and stronger; it's dangerous to do things alone in this game!

I ran into a player at the supermarket, I was armed, he wasn't.  Didn't pose any threat and kept a respectful distance.  I weighed up the pro's and con's of killing him or letting him live, decided to kill him, one less mouth for Berezino to feed was my logic.  As I was equipping my weapon and aiming I hear him say 'oh, here comes my frie...', I had let rip killing him dead only to turn around to see a guy with a M4 and full army gear running up behind me...  Taught me a lesson right there!

Whenever I come across a grocery store, I think about the time I saw an armed player run inside one. All I had was an axe, so I waited a few moments, then charged in like a hooker on crack, whacking him twice on the head, he plummeted to the floor like a sack of marbles.

 

I laughed as I ran to the tree, with a new m4, 400 rounds and so much food, I could have given it to other bambis.

 

But I didn't. I ate heartedly under that big tree in Berezino. I would have drank my coffee black, which oddly, is the same color as my soul.

 

The m4 had nothing but pristine parts, and I thought about how angry that player probably was, but I used his anger to fuel me.
