Stone masks

Well my idea generally revolves around stone/metal sniper masks , like the ones used by Germans in ww1, and aslo seen in one of the far cry games .

The idea is if someone is sniping they wear the mask and it prevents low caliber bullets from certain ranges from penetrating your face lol . Only thing is I don't necessarily know if they truly worked in real life :) . Not to mention they look badass but does any one know what I'm talking about and if so would you wanna see sniper masks in game ?

A stone or metal mask most likely won't stop a bullet.

 

On the unlikely chance it stops a VERY low caliber bullet at a long range, you're still going to be fucked up beyond belief.

I also wouldn't be willing to run around with a heavy piece of metal strapped to my face.

Haha ya I see what you're saying .. But Imagine getting knocked out instead of dying from a face shot though it'd be too legit haha , and of course the mask would break after getting shot since the whole "ruined" status finally makes a difference :)

It won't stop a bullet from today's weaponry.

Trust me. Even if it did, you would have severe concussion, broken bones, etc, etc.
